The Denver Mandolin Orchestra will be playing a concert in remembrance of Harriett Milnes on Sunday October 27th at 6:30 P.M. at the Park Hill Congregational Church at 2600 Leyden St in East Denver. Harriett was a beloved member of the DMO from 2000 until we lost her to pancreatic cancer this year. This concert will feature many of Harriett's favorite tunes and some of the pieces that she arranged for the DMO over the years. In addition, we will be playing a new arrangement of The Grateful Dead's song "Ripple" in remembrance of Harriett's status as a lifetime Deadhead! Lyrics will be provided for those who feel moved to sing along.
